Thank you for checking out our website!
I have had the honor of serving as your president for the past three years. It has been an amazing experience getting to network with so many fantastic educators from around the state of Florida.
I have accepted the position as principal of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, TX. My family and I will be relocating to Texas at the end of June. While we are excited about our new adventure, it was a difficult decision to leave Florida and our many friends and colleagues. Put simply, Florida will always be "home". Due to this move, I will no longer be able to serve as president of FNAA
Over the past few years, FNAA provided a forum for discussion for its members and provided outstanding professional development through conference activities. It is our goal as the executive board of the FNAA to provide you with seminar and conference opportunities, as well as online professional development on topics that are timely and relevant.
As a member of this organization, you lend an important voice to the needs of arts programs in the state of Florida. I urge you to send in a membership form today - all new memberships will last through the end of the 2013-2014 school year!
Our executive board needs enthusiastic members! There will be a reorganizational meeting at the Rosen Plaza in Orlando on June 28, 2013. If you are interested in attending, please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We hope that you will consider the above resources and decide to become a member of the Florida Network of Arts Administrators. Please complete and return the attached membership form as soon as possible. The FNAA is eager to serve and support your important work - educating the next generation creative thinkers and artists!
